Introducing Justin Celliers

– our newest team member

Justin joined Martin Personnel recently and here’s an opportunity for you to get to know him. Below we share some highlights of our ‘’getting to know you” chat…

Justin’s role at Martin Personnel

“My role is about growing the business through partnerships and referrals,” comments Justin, adding that his role as Business Development Manager involves focusing on the manufacturing and logistics sectors that make up a large part of the Martin Personnel client portfolio.

Before Martin Personnel

Justin has always had a background that involves assisting people. ‘People’ has been the central thread throughout his career and has naturally led him to working in sales and providing people solutions. He can particularly relate to client challenges because of the time he spent working as a Site Manager for a blue collar business in South Africa, helping them recruit staff.

What he enjoys about the recruitment sector

“Everyone shares the common goal of recruiting reliable, qualified staff who are switched on and show up with a positive attitude”, says Justin, about the fact that the people involved in the sector are aligned on their aims. Ultimately everyone is looking for great people.

What he is enjoying about Martin Personnel so far

“Martin Personnel has a great track record” comments Justin. “They are well-known in the industry and have an excellent reputation for providing a personal touch along with being quick to respond, honest and ‘keeping it real’.” With Justin’s interest in people, it is no surprise that he was drawn to Martin Personnel’s ‘all about people’ philosophy, including Martin’s values. He feels strongly about treating people fairly and his views are reflected in this recent article about treating temps fairly to overcome challenges of staff retention.

Justin’s personal approach to maintaining fantastic relationships

“I like to foster an on-going relationship with clients beyond the initial assignment,” says Justin. “This involves keeping in touch with them after they have been brought on board by checking in every now and then. I ensure that the expectations that were set when we first met are coming to life and that they have become happy advocates of Martin Personnel.” This is how Justin makes sure that clients are ‘spreading the good word’ and new business is referred in Martin Personnel’s direction.

Fun facts

Justin is very creative. He has played guitar for over 30 years and has written and recorded songs. On top of this he has an interest in art and is often found tinkering around with graphic design.
